🚀 Today we’re launching the first products in our new family of columns and supports: the NARIGA Series and the VELA Series.
As part of our commitment to innovation in outdoor lighting, we have launched a new range of street lighting columns and supports, introducing the NARIGA and VELA series. These products are designed to offer versatile and customizable solutions that combine robust and efficient design, perfectly adapting to the needs of urban and architectural projects.
🔸 NARIGA Series: Inspired by the Punta Nariga Lighthouse, this series of columns stands out for its durability, anti-graffiti finishes (optional), and customization options. They are available in different heights, colors, trims, and bases, allowing for perfect integration into any environment.
🔹 VELA Series: With a design that pays tribute to the Costa da Vela, they are a series of resistant, versatile and customizable wall arms, ideal for illuminating urban and architectural spaces.
If you’d like to learn more about our new solutions, we invite you to discover all the details here ➡️ Columns and Supports
#DidYouKnow Spain is one of the countries represented on the European Committee for Standardization (CEN), whose Management Center defines the conditions of the NIDE standard (regulations on sports and recreational facilities).
This guideline addresses, among others, the following points to determine the ideal lighting conditions for spaces intended for sports activities:
🔹 Balance between lighting and glare 🔹 User profiles 🔹 Other technical needs, such as those arising from broadcasts
We are proud to announce that we have obtained the E-REDES certification 🏆
This certification enables us to market our entire family of public lighting luminaires in Portugal 🇵🇹 . This achievement reinforces our commitment to innovation, energy efficiency and quality, positioning us as a benchmark in lighting solutions 💡 that transform and modernize urban infrastructures.
We appreciate the trust of our customers and collaborators, and we will continue working to light the way to a more sustainable and safe future ✨ .
We are proud to present the renovation of the lighting in Plaza de Bretaña in Lugo , where our OLO Series retrofit solution has been implemented. In this project, we wanted to preserve the original design of the existing luminaires , respecting the urban aesthetics, while updating their technology to the latest generation of LED systems, thus achieving a perfect combination of design and innovation.
Thanks to this modernization, energy savings of more than 80% have been achieved, guaranteeing optimal performance that meets the required lighting requirements , providing efficient, sustainable and quality lighting for citizens.
At Moonoff, we continue to invest in innovation and sustainability, offering solutions that contribute to improving the urban environment, reducing energy consumption and minimising the carbon footprint.
#DidYouKnow Remote management systems allow integration with other monitoring solutions, such as traffic meters, air quality meters, and more.
These measures make it easier for cities to become #smartcities , as they introduce connected infrastructures that are more efficient in a multitude of areas and adapted to the particular needs of each city.
Some of the advantages of these integrations are: 🔹 Energy efficiency 🔹 Reduction of operating costs 🔹 Connectivity
When we design lighting systems for roads, we do so in such a way that the different luminaires compensate for the 2/3 efficiency in binocular vision that is lost due to the absence of natural light.
🌙 Driving at night or in low light conditions reduces visual capacity and considerably increases the risk of accidents, since darkness alters visual factors that are so necessary for driving, such as visual acuity, field of vision, perception of distances, and even tolerance to glare.
Outdoor lighting installations comply with criteria studied for reasons of safety and comfort. With our lighting we help make the road safer, thereby saving lives.
The regulations applicable to lighting in sports facilities in Spain define the regulatory and design conditions to be considered when designing their lighting network, and are called NIDE (regulations on sports and leisure facilities).
In turn, Spain is one of the countries represented in the CEN, whose Management Centre defines the conditions under which the European standard must be adopted, without modification, as a national standard.
In both cases, the documents only consider artificial lighting, with the intention of collecting recommendations and requirements that guarantee that sports facilities have good visual conditions for athletes, referees and spectators, as well as for possible broadcasts by TV cameras.
As with any outdoor lighting installation, it is a matter of finding the balance for maximum visibility without causing glare, which is comfortable for different user profiles and limits disturbing light.
We are pleased to present the result of an exciting street lighting renovation project at Sacaba Beach in the beautiful city of Malaga. This advance represents not only an improvement in energy efficiency, but also a commitment to the comfort and well-being of the local community.
🔹 New lighting with 3000K color temperature: With this color temperature, we provide a warm and cozy light, ideal for public spaces near the beach. This type of lighting not only respects the natural environment, but is also more pleasant for residents and visitors, without compromising visibility and safety.
🔹 Energy efficiency and sustainability: With this update, we significantly reduce energy consumption by up to 60%, minimizing environmental impact and moving towards a more sustainable future. Each luminaire has been configured to optimize energy use, ensuring durability and low maintenance costs.
🔹 Improving quality of life: With this new lighting system, the aim is to create a more habitable urban environment, in which people can enjoy public spaces with greater comfort and safety.
This project is an example of what we can achieve by combining technology, sustainability and urban design for the benefit of the community. Thank you to everyone who made this transformation possible at Sacaba Beach! 💡 🌍
Moonoff is proud to have participated in the renovation of our city’s street lighting.
Our COANDA Series Mini and COANDA SeriesStart luminaires have been selected to achieve ideal lighting levels and thus optimize energy consumption. With a colour temperature of 3000K, good optical performance and the installation of remote management nodes for point-to-point control, it has resulted in energy savings of 65% .
