Environment

We work towards a more sustainable future.

Reduce, reuse and recycle

In line with the measures proposed by national and global organisations aimed at promoting the economic decarbonisation of the industrial fabric, we have positioned ourselves, with an eye on sustainability, in the development and manufacture of new lighting and electric mobility solutions.

At Moonoff we want the value of our products to remain in the economy for as long as possible and to reduce waste generation to a minimum. That is why we are committed to standardisation. With the aim of contributing to the development of a circular economy, we seek to benefit municipalities and all the agents involved in public lighting projects by offering sustainable, recyclable and upgradeable solutions in the future.

With the intention of adapting a new production model, we want to move towards a circular economy model that allows us to extend the life of our products and, thus, reduce the consumption of raw materials and minimize the environmental impact.

We have translated this into a new family of LED street lighting fixtures designed, developed and manufactured entirely by Moonoff, following standards to extend the life of the product, replace and enable upgrading with more efficient components, as well as facilitate repairability, among other properties.

United Nations Global Compact

At Moonoff we are committed to protecting our environment, which is why we have joined the United Nations Global Compact.

This Pact is a voluntary initiative of the UN on social responsibility based on 10 Principles on Human Rights, labour standards, the environment and the fight against corruption. It has more than 70 local networks at a global level, including the Spanish one, which has been one of the first national platforms of the Global Compact since its creation and the local network with the largest number of member entities, with more than 2,100. Of these, 21% are large companies, 61% are SMEs and 18% are other types of entities.
